Our online research led us to Workshop Software and it looked very user friendly. The differences from motor vehicle to boats was our main issue but we felt we could work around that. I found the tutorials quick and informative and that really was the catalyst for the decision.
Our biggest issue was listing numerous parts on our invoices previously done in quickbooks which was rather clumsy, however, the invoice layout in workshop is streamlined and easier to read. I would recommend to other mechanical businesses. We are a small automotive dealership based in Forbes NSW, we are Ford dealers, but our focus is vehicle servicing and repairs.
Some comparative systems cost tens of thousands of dollars, and Workshop Software was a fraction of that. Our initial concerns were around the user and their interface or use of Workshop Software, (Old dog new tricks scenarios). The features that sold us on WS was the seamless integrations and the fresh face software display, this made it easy to navigate around Workshop Software. Overall the transition to Workshop Software, without the loss of data, was the biggest selling point for us.
Some of the initial benefits have been the speed of invoice and statement distribution; through email and text messaging we have seen clients pay faster and with a lot less hassle. On top of this, the ease of use has been exceptional, and the overall product for pricing is a no-brainer. I would recommend it to all garages, this ease of use, the ability to quickly understand how the system works and the seemingly endless integrations is a huge bonus.' 'I think the software is fantastic. I use workshop software every day and it is the most convenient, easy to do and straight forward software i have ever used.
I find it so easy to use because of the way the job cards allow me to write exactly what I want the mechanics to know, without having to use abbreviations. I love how time saving the software is with having all the customer details and history in one spot.
I also love the way that I can limit access to the mechanics so they don't see particular things i don't want them to see, it allows privacy. It has definitely helped our business flow.'
'Good morning I have purchased the software and extremely impressed with the fluidity and ease off operation, my mechanics are happy and excited to start operating on the sytem. My insurance quotes are a dream, my customer details and sync with there vehicles are amazing, the fact i can real time my working progress is a great joy.
