Results were inconsistent at best with the wrist monitor and the wrist monitor also had none of the advanced features that the Omron has — it literally only took blood pressure readings and that’s it.

This health device not only feels significantly more accurate, but goes above and beyond with this app which is integrated directly with Apple’s HealthKit API. As an app developer myself (and a customer for that matter), I appreciate the HealthKit integration VERY much.

It makes it SO much easier to export data than other proprietary (and consequently crappy) health devices. All these features are only $30 more than the “standard” wrist monitor I used to have!! I absolutely recommend this app and the accompanying blood pressure monitor. I actually forgot it had the Bluetooth capability (🙄). Hey, this is about my heart not my brain.that’s for another app 😂. I downloaded this app & am immediately bombarded with the app wanting ACCESS to your location. It says it helps them determine BP readings based on where you are.

And NO, not happening. Then comes the necessity to provide your email in order to create the account & sync via Bluetooth.

UGH.I’m now in a hypertensive state. I begrudgingly did so and then went to my inbox to be able to click on some link to confirm my email, yada yada yada. Not in junk either. Reading many other reviews who, even once they did initial setup, only to have the Bluetooth work, not work, cannot print readings or notes.so VERY FRUSTRATING. As a person with hypertension, bradycardia, a mild aortic stenosis & sclerosis, its important for me to keep a daily log of my BP & communicate this info to my cardiologist regularly. For now, I either take the BP cuff to my appts or make a photo log on my phone. I clearly, as well as many others here, did not get what we paid for.

I have used the app with my BP653 Wrist Cuff unit for over a year and a half. It works as it should. I think I’ve had to re-pair it twice in that time.

While I have not had occasion to print the data, I did put it out to an Excel file once to show my GP. If you need a hard copy, you print the Excel file. If Omron had included print capability, the app would have been MUCH larger. I normally use the app on my iPad, but it is installed on my iPhone also. I use a keyboard with my iPad and the landscape mode you don’t get everything that is displayed with the portrait mode.

Omron, like many other app producers, make the assumption that everyone uses an iPad handheld in portrait and that is NOT the case. That is my only real gripe with the software. Regarding the device itself, it is very accurate. MY GP said that if it was in 10 points for both readings, that was good. My Systolic was within 3 and the Diastolic was within 2, compared to his readings. Flatlander48, Works Great!
