Bosch 10v Impact Driver For Mac

Wow.As an electro mechanical technician I have used many different cordless impacts over the years. Normally the 12volt lines just don't have enough torque or flexibility for my needs. This makes me lug around a 18V impact and drill everywhere. I finally pulled the trigger on Milwaukee and see why the price is high. This impact is top notch, fit and finish is amazing, and the ergonomics is great. 1200 in-lbs is getting into the big impact range in such a small package. The biggest thing for me is the adjustable torque.

With the click of one button I can drop down to 175 in-lbs of torque, this means I don't have to swap tools when moving from 1/2' bolts down to electrical panel fasteners. The red lithium batteries really are impressive and they have a super fast recharge time. I'm interested in. I'm a Bodyman and I use this daily. I sold off all my snap on electric tools and switched over to all Milwaukee tools.

These are better built, stronger and have a 5 year warranty. Bodymen are hard on tools and these are tough tools. They are great priced for what you get. I saved enough money to get a second screw gun and drill for at home.

Plus having the same batteries I can easier bring things back and forth. Most of my fellow automotive technicians have also made the switch. Trust me they are where it's at. This is the most powerful and the most versatile 12 volt impact driver available as of this writing. It's brushless. Brushless motors offer more power, longer runtime, less maintenance and longer life verses their brushed counterparts.

It comes with two 2.0 Ah batteries, a charger, and a nice hard case. Most of the other 12 volt impacts come with 1.5Ah or smaller batteries.

A larger battery means more runtime and possibly more power. What sets this driver apart from the rest are the two modes. Mode one gives you a great power screwdriver with 175 max inch-pounds of torque and 1200 max.

You can put small screws in cabinets or install face plates without problems. Mode two gives you an excellent impact driver with 1200 max inch-pounds of torque and 2650 max. This lets you drive deck screws and lag screws in 4 x 4's without pilot holes. With 1/4' hex.

I have always been a fan of Milwaukee drills. They have always been the top of the line in my opinion, but they are a bit expensive and heavy. I was always looking for a smaller, lighter, powerful 12v - 14v drill, as I use it almost daily in my workshop building furniture and cabinets. I had been wanting the bosch 10v drill similar to this for about a year, but figured I'd wait until something better came out. Well I am glad I waited because the Milwaukee 2401-22 is exactly what I had been looking for.

It is small yet very stout. Fits in my big hands perfectly. I can even hold it like a cigarette with my index finger on top and middle finger on the trigger for better accuracy.

Bosch Impact Driver Set

I was a little weary on the chuck, but it. Nice amount of power for the size and weight, needed something small and light, while healing from shoulder replacement and was interested in the saw, for cutting small material, instead of pulling out my larger saw. Impact works great at driving, used it to drive 8 4” screws in a tight space, with ease, needed my 20v to break a nut that it couldn’t, but at 12v and the size, I’m happy. Batteries charge fast, last for a good amount work. I like the saw, used it in some tight spaces.

I wish it could be a little thinner near the blade clamp. I will be purchasing some other M12 products for sure.

The Bosch 2-in-1 impact driver (GDX18V-1600) includes a 1/4' hex as well as a 1/2' square drive. This lets you switch from traditonal fastening to higher torque applications. Speaking of higher torque, the Bosch 2-in-1 puts out 1600 in-lbs (133 foot pounds) of torque.

Bosch Tools Impact Driver

The driver uses a 4-pole brushed motor and is 0.5 lb lighter (and 50 in-lbs less torque) than the brushless model Bosch put out several years ago. The positive side? This model only costs $119 for the bare tool. (The brushless motor version is $159).
